Bob received his Bachelor’s and Masters of Business Administration Degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and his Masters of Science Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. He holds a Certified Public Accountant Certificate from the State of California and is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Financial Planning Association. He was employed by the former Arthur Andersen & Co. for nearly seven years prior to the formation of Mah & Associates, LLP. His experience over forty years in public accounting has been in a variety of industries, including closely held businesses, utility, governmental entities, retirement and employee benefit plans, not-for-profit organizations, futures commission merchants, software, manufacturing and service-oriented industries, and high net worth individuals.
Yolanda received her Bachelor’s degree from De La Salle University and Masters of Accounting degree from Golden Gate University at San Francisco. She also obtained additional study in the Taxation Program at Golden Gate University. She holds a Certified Public Accountant Certificate from the State of California. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society Certified Public Accountants. She has over twenty four years of audit and tax experience with Mah & Associates, LLP. Her experience has been in a variety of industries, including closely-held businesses such as manufacturing, software, card gaming facilities, money remittances, broker-dealers and futures commission merchants; service-oriented industries such as engineering, architectural and law firms; public companies such as utility and biopharmaceutical; governmental entities, not-for-profit organizations, and high net worth individuals.
Yolanda serves as the team captain in the firm’s peer review engagement services. Yolanda also served as a member of the Planning Committee for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants Accounting and Auditing Conference held on an annual basis.
Brian received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and his Masters of Business Taxation Degree from the University of Southern California. He holds a Certified Public Accountant Certificate from the State of California and is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the San Francisco Estate Planning Council. Prior to joining Mah & Associates, LLP, he was a Tax Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he worked for seven years. He has served small business owners, executives, and attorneys where his main focus was on individual tax planning, charitable giving strategies, and fiduciary income tax returns while at PwC. He has over fourteen years of public accounting experience including service-oriented industries, closely-held businesses, and high net worth individuals.
